Creative Residencies

be inspired in the big sky

We are actively working to bring space and resources for the arts to Stickney Creek in both digital and IRL forms. Inspired by Anderson Ranch, Future Farmers, and The Strange, we value creativity inspired by time and place.

We welcomed our first artists, filmmakers D.S. Chun and Mustafa Rony Zeno, in July 2020.

For more creative residencies in the area, visit AIR Seven, operated by our neighbors at Sieben Livestock, and the nearby Archie Bray Foundation.

In 2021, we will be partnering with Primal U to bring a creative 6-day workshop to Stickney Creek. A mix of survival, leadership, and mindfulness training, Primal U also includes a module on how the arts help connect us to the environment. Read our Meet Us page to learn more about our instructors.

And watch this space and subscribe to our newsletter for updates!

As an artist, educator, and homegrown Montanan, I am excited to work with creatives from all over the world to find support for diverse artistic practices.
